My Story

I didn’t have it easy growing up. Money was tight, opportunities weren’t obvious, and the path forward wasn’t clear. But I had one thing that never left me, the belief that if I outworked everyone around me, things would change.

Athletics gave me a direction. The 400 metres gave me a purpose. And the grind gave me everything else.

I moved to the United States on a scholarship, competing at a high level while figuring out who I was as an athlete and as a person. Every step forward came with sacrifice, financial pressure, self doubt, and the constant question of whether it would all be worth it.

It was.

In 2024 I stood on top of the world as an Olympic gold medallist, representing the Netherlands in the 4x400 metre relay. That moment didn’t happen by accident. It happened because of years of structure, sacrifice, and the right people in the right moments pushing me to be better.

But what stayed with me wasn’t just the medal. It was how much the right coaching changed everything. The right structure. The right knowledge. The right environment. Those things are the difference between potential and performance.

That’s why I built EO Fitness.

Not to sell programs. Not to put my name on something. But because I know what it feels like to train without direction, and I know what it feels like when everything clicks. I want every athlete, whether you’re chasing a national title or just trying to move and feel better, to have access to coaching that actually works.

EO Fitness is everything I wish I had earlier. And I’m building it for you.
